Pakistan Army Warns India of Swift Retaliation Against Any Aggression

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s top military leadership has warned India that any aggression or attempt to impose an “imaginary new normal” will be met with a “swift retributive response.” The 272nd Corps Commanders’ Conference, chaired by Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, condemned recent provocative statements by Indian leaders, terming them part of New Delhi’s strategy to “whip up war hysteria for political gains.” The commanders vowed to counter any Indian misadventure decisively and reaffirmed full operational readiness across all domains. The forum also reviewed ongoing counterterrorism efforts and pledged to dismantle networks of Indian-backed terror proxies, including the TTP and Baloch separatists. Expressing concern over the “terror-crime nexus with political patronage,” the leadership resolved to crush such threats “come what may.” The conference welcomed the new Pakistan–Saudi Arabia defence pact, calling it a milestone for regional stability. It also reiterated Pakistan’s firm support for the Kashmiri struggle and the Palestinian cause, urging a ceasefire in Gaza and endorsing a two-state solution. COAS Munir praised the armed forces’ resilience in combating terrorism and disaster relief operations, emphasizing discipline, innovation, and readiness to face evolving security challenges.
