Gen Nasser Janjua Warns India May Launch Another Missile Strike on Pakistan

Former National Security Adviser Lt Gen (R) Nasser Khan Janjua has issued a serious warning — India could once again attempt a missile strike on Pakistan. Speaking at a defence seminar in Lahore, Gen Janjua said India’s internal political situation makes aggression against Pakistan entirely possible. He emphasized that Pakistan has state-of-the-art missile technology and is fully capable of defending itself. “As the only Islamic nuclear power, Pakistan will always remain a challenge for its enemies,” he said. Gen Janjua highlighted Pakistan’s diplomatic and defence successes, claiming India now stands isolated internationally. He also accused the United States of dismantling Muslim leadership across several countries, saying Pakistan now represents the last stronghold of the Muslim world. Air Marshal (R) Sajid Habib said the Pakistan Air Force is unmatched in the region, vowing that if India attacks again, Pakistan would bring down “seventy aircraft, not seven.” Rear Admiral (R) N. A. Rizvi stressed that Gwadar Port’s full operation is vital for national defence and economic revival. Experts at the seminar urged stronger institutions, foreign investment, and political unity — calling for national readiness to counter any future threats.
